CPHI Worldwide
Our first international stand focused on pharmaceutical and purification grades. Visitors from the Middle East and Europe walked the booth asking the same question we still get today — can you match the grade we already buy?

Eight steps in our Longyan facility. Each one decides a parameter you will later read on the COA — and the last two are what customers walk through when they audit us.
Sodium silicate and acid are metered into the reactor under controlled pH and temperature — the step that sets particle size and pore structure before anything else can be adjusted.
The precipitate is filtered and washed until conductivity confirms the salts are out. Residual electrolyte is what causes downstream pH drift in a customer’s system.
Slurry is atomised into the drying tower. Inlet temperature and feed rate here determine bulk density and how the powder will later flow in a silo.
Dried agglomerates are milled to the target D50. This is where an abrasive grade and a flow-aid grade separate from the same base material.
Every lot is tested for BET surface area, oil absorption, particle size, pH and loss on drying before release — the values that appear on your COA.
25 kg bags, batch-coded and palletised. Small-batch and multi-grade consolidation are handled at this stage, not as an afterthought.
PPE, evacuation routes and area rules are covered before anyone enters production — the step auditors check exists before they check anything else.
Customers walk the reactor hall themselves. pH and temperature control are demonstrated live rather than described in a slide deck.
Four international stands, four application tracks — the same expansion you see across our six solution pages today.
Censil Silica is the silica brand of an integrated manufacturing-and-trading group. Our parent company, Longyan Shenghe Trading Co., Ltd, has been exporting since 2010; the stands below were run by the group’s materials team.

Four years later the focus had moved to food and feed. The stand was built around one problem — powders that block in the silo and in the sachet — and the anti-caking and free-flow grades that address it.
Personal and oral care brought a different kind of conversation — less about specification sheets, more about how a powder feels on skin. We ran sensory testing at the stand so formulators could judge spreadability themselves.
Our first North American technical meeting. Alongside the stand we presented a poster on silica adsorbents for phosphatide removal in soybean oil degumming — the work behind the refining grades we ship to Europe today.
